NYCへ移ってきて３ヶ月後に生活が崩壊しだした頃に見た
あまりにショッキングなニュースと
黒猫ちゃんとを引き合いに出して、
どうしても書いてみたかった社会性の話。
でも自分には知識と力量及ばずで。
本当はVICE Magみたいなジャーナリズム力が自分にも欲しい。
そして今、年の瀬、
なんだかそわそわってて、謎に体調が狂っていて、
でも書きたくて。
しょうがない、
こういう時は一旦仕事へ向かうこの気負い（？）を少し無視して、
フリーライティングをするに限るのかな、って。
結果的に、機を逃しまくって、fb以外ではきちんと出来ていない
我がメルトリックのアナウンス事項をもスキップしまして。
今書きたいことを、
この８月のショッキングなアシンメトリー論に無理やりコンバインしまして、
残しておこうと思います。

昔、テック系に強いルームメイトに聞いた話だが、
自宅のWiFiがだんだん遅くなるのは、
回線が詰まることがあるから。
そういう時は、一旦電源コードを抜くなりして再びさすと、
その「詰まり」も解消される、ということだった。
今、まさに自分の体がそうなのやもしれぬん。

この映像とか見ているとすごく思うのは。
ポップミュージックが昔から一般向けのものとしても、
こう、欧米のティーンが好きそうな感じをがっつり鷲掴みにできる
エンターテイメントビジネスセンスってすげえなって思うんですよね。
その全体的な技量って年々向上していってるし。
いよいよ昨日ぐらいから本格的に具合が悪く、
気をつけつつも、安静にしつつ作業したり睡眠を取ったり、
結局スカイプ会議したり（笑）地味にそわそわってる。
そもそもで、己の手にある音楽のセンスや情報を安売りなどする気はない。音楽で繋がる友達のこともその友達の音楽の事も大切で、彼らが音にいろんな想いを込めているのと同様に向き合うためにわざわざ、MELTRICKなんてよくわからない名義で活動してるくらいだし。
だから、日本側へシェアできる生の音楽は実はものすごく限られている。
というか厳選している。
今週とあるミーティングで、生まれてこのかたこんなに褒められたことないってくらい、誉められて嬉しいポイントを評価していただいたことがあった。

確かに、こりゃ、何より大事だ。
結果的に。
なので、伝えたいものがありすぎてずっと困ってはいるけれど。
それを我々が思う正しい形で来年からは発信して伝えて、
なんなら受け手側の生活に気持ちぶっこますくらいになれるように
一つ一つ形にしていくよ。
さて、リテラシー。
日本のロックフィールドのバンドやけどね。
このアンダバーのソフモアアルバムが"Literacy"ってタイトルのようで。
ティーザー聴いてると、うきうきしちゃう。
（メンバーは、元Jelly→やLaid Back Oceanの名手ベースプレイヤーのユータロー氏をバンマスに、期待のスリーピーブルースロックバンドMade In Asiaのフロントや最近リードギターでa flood of circleに電撃加入したり、B'zの稲葉氏のバンドメンバーだったりのDuran氏をVo/Gtのフロントに、half-lifeのドラマーである福島氏に、ここの鍵盤ニストのMAL氏って方は初めて知ったプレイヤーですが、超絶なプレイセンスとスタイルで、うきうきさせるツボをおさえてはる。）
ジャパニーズロックの進化の仕方ってなんだか不思議だわ。
やっぱり。
リテラシーを大切に、もっと進化させてく、よー。

とても深みのあるコンテンポラリージャズアルバムです。
そしてジャケットやCD内のフォトアートワーク（スタジオレコーディング風景等）は USK photographyことYusukeさんによる撮影です。
悠人さんの演奏は個人的にはこの作品のボストンリリースパーティ以来見に行けていないので、NYCでの悠人さんの新境地もとても楽しみにしておるのですが。このEarthwardsはずっと聴き続けているとても大好きなアルバムです。
もともとロックドラマーだった私にとってジャズは日本時代（しかも１０代後半とか）にアートブレーキーくらいしか聞いてこなかったのが実のところなのです が。ボストン時代特に初期に出会った数々のバークリーの素晴らしいジャズプレイヤーのお友達の皆さんの影響で、やっときちんとジャズに魅了された、といっ ても過言ではないのです。私にとって生で拝見させていただいていた悠人さんのジャズギターはまさにその入り口でもありました。
ぜひとも日本の音楽ファンにも手に取っていただきたい一枚です！

ぶっちゃけずっとその"right persons"を見極め続けていて、
見極められ続けている。
多分、世俗（？）的には若干古い言葉なんやろうけど、
「チェンジ」の時やは、って思って水面下からゾクゾク動いてるで。

でもいつも実際はその二極面を彷徨うよね。
そもそもシンメトリーにアシンメトリーってワードは、

考えるに、ネガティヴィティはいずれは衰えていく、的な？

まぁその部分はいつもそう思ってはいる。
人間である以上、愛が云々以前にヒューマニティがないと、くそだと思ってる。
これをやすやす「人情」とかって言うのは、今の時代は違うと思う。
でも、たぶん、このトップに貼ったジャーナリストのbeheadのニュースを
見たときに強く思ったのは、人の持つ「人間味」は損なわれてはいけない、ということ。
最近、プライヴェートでパートナーが出来まして。
経験や経緯による、あらゆるトラウマを超えて、
いわばそのハピネス側の事が急に起こって。
それはやはり手の中にあるうちに、
いつまでも大切にしたいことなので。
人生の成り行きとは不思議なもんだと、
思いつつも己でできることは全力で向かって
もっと掴んで守って行かないといけないなって思う。
奪われたり、
使われたり（英語で言うところのused upされたり）してばっかでは
いられんな、と。
コピペクオート内でもちょびちょびメンションしましたが、
来年初頭からいろんなことを始めていくことになりました。
来年は「始動の年」です。
今年５月とかにボストンからNYCへ拠点をやっと移してきて。
踏んだり蹴ったりしながらも
「最終的には良い形でNYCを脱出する」ことを個人目標に設定し、
負けてもただでは転ばず立ち上がる精神で、やってきておりますが。
先ほど言ったように、used upされてばかりもいられないので、
失敗は倍にして挽回してやろうと思ってる。
でも実力以上のことなんて所詮はできやしない。
だから落ち着いて、知恵を絞りつ、見極めつつ、で。
やったもん勝ち、でも、
やりっぱなしにならない様なものを作っていくよ。
やっとそういう、これまでひた隠しにしてきた多くのものを
上手にシェアしながら信頼できる仲間と一緒にやり始めれるところまできた。
そして信じてくれる人もそばにいる。
この上ないね。
止む無く、切ってしまったり切られてしまった人も、実はたくさんいる。
それは仕方ないし。
いつか何かの巡り合わせでまた繋がることがあれば、より幸せだなあ、
なんて思ったりはするけど。
急に話は飛ぶけど、具合悪いなりにハマっていた「東京グール」の
アニメ版Season 1の最終話が、僕には現代の「エヴァンゲリオンへの回答」
みたいな風に映って。
要は、グール側を主人公が受け入れて、
心を鬼にしていく描写というか、その変化によるチョロQ論的な動き（？）。
も、やっぱり大事やな、と。
話が四方八方へ飛び散ってきたので、うまくコンクリュードってないけど、
この辺で。早く体を治して、年末最後のタスクを乗り越えないと。
